Apathy is infectious

Apathy is infectious

In  the  past  few  months  as  a  consultant  for  some  colleges  and  schools    and  some  other  organizations  I  have  come  across  certain  traits  in  the  employees  that  are  not  only  dangerous  but  are  very  infectious  , as  infectious  as  plague . One  of  such  traits  is  Apathy .

These  are  the  people  who  have  little  or  no  interest  in  the  job  they  have  been  assigned  but  would  rather  prefer  much  high  end  jobs  in  which  they  definitely  don’t  want  to  be  held  responsible  or  accountable  for  the  outcomes . They  don’t  want  the  responsibility  of  the  job  but  want  the  perks  associated  with  it .

They  find  the  job  suicidal  but  don’t  want  to  get  out  of  it .They  are  the  people  drowning  in  the deep  sea  and  waiting  for  someone  to  see  their  apathy . Sympathy  is  fine  towards  such  people  but  do  not  go  overboard  and  empathize . They  don’t  want  to  swim  out  of  their  misery  or  who  would  not  try  to  beat  their  hands  and  legs . You  can  save  someone  from  drowning  only  if  they  want  to  be  saved  or  they  will  drown  you  as  well .

Apathy  is  more  of  a  chronic  condition  or  a  disease  which  if  not  dealt  with  sooner  will  infect  the  whole  lot  who  come  in  contact  with  this  diseased .

How  to  spot  them ?

These  are  the  people  who  are  self  proclaimed  unfortunate  ones . Unhappiness  is  their  leading  lady  and  self  destruction  is  their  mistress . They  wear  their  gloom  with  pride  on  their  sleeve . They  display  their  discontent  on  the  drop  of  a  stone  or  as  little  as  a  sneeze . They  often  present  themselves  as  victims  of  the  management  policies ,  procedures  and  politics .

How  to  treat  this  condition ?

DO NOT TRY  IT . Your  time  is  very  precious  and  remember  as  humans  everyone  is  susceptible  to  surrounding  emotions  and  moods . Even  if  you  consider  yourself  to  be  invincible  with  such  antiques  remember  your  time  is  far  more  precious  and  so  is  your  job . The  best  option  is  to  either  relieve  such  employee  of  all  his / her  responsibilities  or  quarantine  them.

Use some weaves and some prints to design the skirts and team them with tops that compliment ..... learn the rules , analyse them and then break them ..... lines , cuts , darts , pleats , ........ there are no rules just go beyond classroom coaching and experiment ...... understand the purpose of each element of a design and play with it to create your own design .....

being designer is always about creativity ..... make designs tastefully ..... do some experimenting .... go berserk if required ..... let your mind go places and find inspirations ......

 

 

Crazy sequined pants with some structured tops

ever thought about sequined pants ????? well it may sound bizarre but try it and maybe you'll like it .....team it with some structured , some tie & dye , some vest cut tops ..... and maybe you'll give people a reason to follow your style ..... it's boring always to be predictable so go crazy with these designs !!!!!
